What’s important to you in regards to your investments?

When I ask that question, to a lot of people, the gut reaction is somewhere along the lines of chasing more return, for less risk...seems to make sense. What a lot of people fail to realize is how much more actually goes into building your portfolio than simply the risk and return.

One critical piece to every portfolio is your values!

If you live out your values in what you do and how you interact with people, shouldn’t your investments reflect those same values?

Environmental, social, and governance funds…also known as ESG funds…allow you to align your investments into companies who have shown they care about their people, their industry, and the environment.

Biblically Responsible Investments are strategies focused on investments in those organizations which align with a Christian values system and screens-out companies whose practices don’t share in that alignment.

Just remember…however you invest, just make sure its in alignment with your values and not what somebody else has in mind for you.
